Effective October 14, 2026. Paw & You uses your photos to make the portraits you request. Portraits are AI-generated illustrations made from your photos.
What you share
We collect the photos you upload, optional names and email, your selected looks, processing consent, order records, and delivery address for canvas orders. We use a daily salted hash of your IP to limit abuse. Private gallery links work like a password: keep them to yourself.
Where your photos go
Cloudflare hosts our site, private photo storage, database, and image processing. Google (Gemini API) receives your photos and style references to create portraits. PayPal processes payments and collects canvas shipping details; we do not store card numbers. the selected printing partner (Printful or Printify) receives your purchased artwork and shipping address for canvas orders. Resend receives your email and delivery messages when you provide an email. These providers may process data in the United States and other countries under their own terms.
Your consent & biometric information
Before generation, we ask for permission to process your photos and transmit them to the AI provider for portrait creation. We do not use face recognition to identify you, build identity profiles, or sell biometric information. We do not intentionally create or retain biometric identifiers or face geometry templates. Photo processing is not identity verification. Provider behavior and regional biometric consent requirements must be reviewed before public launch.
How long we keep things
Unpurchased sessions and their photos are deleted after 7 days. If you buy a portrait, source photos are deleted 30 days after your first purchase. Finished artwork and your private gallery remain available for 1 year so you can download them. Daily cleanup may take up to 24 additional hours. Minimal order and financial records may be retained when required for accounting or disputes. Printing partners may retain records under their legal obligations; deleting a gallery does not cancel a production order.
Delete your photos
Email hello@pawandyou.com with your private gallery link to request deletion or withdraw consent. We verify ownership through that link or the associated email before deleting photos and the gallery. You may also use the authenticated gallery deletion endpoint described in our support documentation. Withdrawal stops future processing; it cannot recall a completed print shipment. Download your artwork first.
Email, cookies & children
Gallery and order emails are transactional. Marketing requires a separate, unchecked opt-in and can be withdrawn anytime. Meta, TikTok, and Pinterest advertising tags are off by default and require the advertising measurement preference before loading when enabled. We keep source, medium, campaign, and referral attribution in a session linked to a first-party cookie for 30 days. Gift addresses are collected directly in our form and sent to the printing partner. Public sharing is off by default: a separate confirmation publishes only the selected watermarked portrait. You can stop sharing from its gallery card. We do not include your private gallery URL, photos, email, or address in advertising event payloads. Upload only photos you have permission to use; parents or guardians must consent to photos of children. You must be at least 18 to place an order.
