Terms of service.
Effective October 14, 2026. These terms apply to Paw & You. Portraits are AI-generated illustrations made from your photos.
Preview before you buy
Your first 3 selected looks receive free, watermarked previews. One digital portrait costs $19; all 3 cost $33. Extra selected looks cost$10 each after your first purchase. All prices are in USD and are confirmed at checkout. Digital orders have no shipping address.
Your digital portraits
Paid downloads are watermark-free JPEGs with a 4096-pixel long edge. AI output can differ from reference photos, and upscaling does not guarantee new facial detail. Each purchased portrait includes 2 free likeness redos while source photos remain available (30 days after purchase). Downloads are licensed for your personal use, including personal printing and gifts. We do not promise exclusive or copyright-protected output.
Refunds & likeness
If a portrait does not look like your person or pet, please use the included free redos first. If the likeness still misses, contact us within 14 days of purchase for a refund. We do not accept change-of-mind returns on personalized digital work or printed canvases. For damaged, defective, or incorrect canvases, contact us promptly with your order information so we can arrange a replacement or appropriate refund. Mandatory consumer rights still apply.
Canvas orders
Canvas is an optional purchase after digital checkout: 12 × 16 inches for $69, or 16 × 20 inches for $89, each including US shipping. We accept US addresses only. Review the selected artwork and address before payment. The 16 × 20 format uses a cream border to preserve the complete 3:4 composition. Print colors may differ from screens. Order by Dec 8 for Christmas; this is an estimated seasonal cutoff, not a delivery guarantee. Production timing depends on the printing partner.
Permission & acceptable photos
You must have permission from every person whose photo you upload, and guardian consent for a child. Do not upload intimate images, unlawful material, or photos intended for harassment or impersonation. AI providers may reject unsafe content. We do not guarantee that every photo can be processed.
Services & storage
Cloudflare hosts the service; Google (Gemini API) makes images; PayPal handles payments; the selected printing partner (Printful or Printify) prints and ships; Resend sends emails. Source photos expire after 7 days without purchase, or 30 days after purchase. Downloaded artwork is yours to keep; the hosted gallery expires after 1 year. Keep your private link safe. See our privacy policy for deletion and consent.
Gifts, discounts, and referral credit
Gift invitations cover the items shown in the invitation, one preview set per code, and one US delivery address. Invitations must be redeemed before expiry. Gift orders have no purchase revenue. A discount applies only to its stated products and remains subject to expiry and use limits. Only one discount code can apply to an order. Referring a new customer gives their first order $5 off and gives you $5 in store credit after their order is paid. Self-referrals and repeat first-order claims are not eligible. Credit is available from your purchased gallery for later canvas or extra look purchases, has no cash value, and cannot be withdrawn. Keep your private link safe to access it. Commission reporting excludes gift and refunded orders; settlement is handled separately by the studio.
